Dream with us for a moment, of a day long past...the year is 1921. The Spanish Flu and World War I are just very recently over, and the world is breathing out a sigh of relief. People across the globe are looking towards the comforts, curiosities, and excitements of the future. On a smaller scale, in the cozy town of Richfield, WI, the inhabitants are catching the nation's growing fever for automobiles!
Fast, rattling, and the soon to be favorite accessories of gangsters, moonshiners, law-men, and mobsters- the automobile is rolling through America's imagination, and wallets, quickly. In Richfield, much like the rest of America, people are ready to embrace this new mode of transportation. But, as with every new technological breakthrough, it comes with its own set of problems- unique to anything that the local black smiths, watch makers, or other service providers have encountered. As with every new piece of technology before it, the coming of the automobile, and the special demands of its repair and upkeep, must bring with it automotive technicians. And so, in 1921, Laubenheimer's Garage opened its doors to the people of Richfield, and to the future.
Laubenheimer's Garage is proud of our 100 year legacy! Our shop has been standing longer than anyone person to work in it. Each new age and new employee has brought unique skills to this place, and the amalgamation of it all has led to a one-of-a-kind experience woven into the very fabric of the business.
